Désiré BRIDEN (1850-1937) Vercingetorix Sculpture in patinated plaster. Signed studio plaster on the bottom of the bust, on one side 76 x 50 cm. - Base: 27.5 x 20 cm Small accidents at the base. Notes: Désiré Briden, a native of Troyes, exhibited at the Salon des Artistes Français in Paris in 1881 where he received an award. He obtained several public commissions; some of his works decorate the city of Troyes or are kept in the city's Fine Arts Museum.
