Suitcase for toiletries of French manufacture, in black grained leather, and black moiré satin interior, Paris 1925 - 1928. H: 16 cm; L: 49 cm; W: 34 cm; Weight: 800 grams It was part of luggage made to measure for luxury car trunks. Important Baccarat crystal trim and bottle with cubist decoration, rare, and silver stopper with two-tone translucent blue and green enamel decoration on a guilloché background. The goldsmith is LAGARDE and FORTIN (1922 - 1928) in Paris. Export stamp for Belgium of the 1st title (1878-1973) to receive the mark with the golden stamp of Ernest and Robert ALTENLOH, jewellers and goldsmiths of the king and queen, place Royale in Brussels. The set consists of: - 4 rectangular, 3 round, 1 square crystal bottles - 2 brushes (clothes and hair) with silver and enamel frame - boot and shoehorn puller in steel with enamel handle - kit with 3 manicure tools and 3 steel tools - 2 jewellery boxes in grained leather - 1 removable mirror to be placed in an easel - with its black protective canvas, handle and suitcase and its original key.
