ANDROUET DU CERCEAU (Jacques) ; BALDUS (Édouard), Éd. Meeting of 3 volumes in-folio, entirely realized in heliogravure, conceived and published around 1870 by the photographer and engraver Édouard Baldus (1813-1889) :
1. Work of Jacques Androuet Du Cerceau. Furniture.  f. (title), 51 plates. [Bound in the suite]: Œuvre... 20 cheminées.  f. (title), 20 plates. Contemporary red half-chagrin, spine with 5 nerves, gilt title (tail cap worn, nerves and corners rubbed, very rare russeting). Provenance : Morel d'Arleux (ex-libris engraved by Stern).
2. Work... 35 large arabesques.  f. (title), 35 plates. [Bound in the suite] : 62 small arabesques.  f., 62 plates. Contemporary green half-chagrin, spine with five raised bands, author, title and gilt fleurons, restorations (rubbed edges, fragmentary bookplate). With 3 engraved plates in old edition. Provenance: Albert Laprade, architect, 1883-1978 (bookplate engraved by Robert Cami).
3. Work... Cups, vases, trophies, cartouches, fleurons, balustrades, ironwork.  f. (title), 134 plates. In sheets in modern unbleached cloth folder with laces (sporadic russeting and soiling).
