AVILER (Augustin-Charles d'). (table, approb.), contemporary spotted tan calf, spine with 5 nerves, brown title-piece, ornamented caissons, red edges, spine and corners restored (moderate russeting, browning and scattered soiling). New and greatly enriched edition of this treatise originally published in 1691. The illustration entirely engraved on copper consists of a frontispiece engraved by J.P. Le Bas after E. Bouchardon, and 163 plates in the text or off-text, some of them double or folding.
