Important minutes of the interrogation of
Charles Eugène de la Rocque-Cahan (1755-
1797) general of the Chouans, conducted in Tinchbray on
4 germinal an 5 (24 mars 1797) : eleven pages
(23 x 31 cm) numbered, initialed and signed
several times by de la Rocque, Capitaine
Fabre, Judge Lelièvre of Tinchbray and his clerk.
This interrogation was conducted from midnight to 2 a.m.
to two o'clock in the morning after his arrest
by the line troop outside Madame Guilhouette's home.
