ANJOU. Manuscript of reason of a family of owners in Saumur, Angers and surroundings, bearing the names Vachon and Sailland. 17th-19th century. One folio register (34 x 23 cm), ink on azure paper, folioed from 1 to 118 (qq. errors), period parchment, smooth muted spine title stenciled on upper board, remnants of laces laces (minor wear). Important reflection of the region's economic life from the revolutionary era to the July Monarchy. the July Monarchy. The register begun in 1790 was used until the 1840. It opens with a series of inventories of land land and real estate acquired in the 18th century, including houses in Angers and vineyards. This first part is preceded by an alphabetical table alphabetical table of subjects, personal names and places cited. The remainder of the volume which is the most extensive part, provides a variety of information on land ownership and land use. 16 small handwritten pieces are attached. The binding is titled "Journal / domestique / 1790" and a monogram consisting of the letters A, O, V in a floral frame.
