In-folio, old Italian paperback cover (russeting, wetness, stains). Fragmentary collection of 25 copper engraved plates showing ancient temples. Interesting set of compositions and surveys by the Italian architect G. B. Montano (1534-1621). The first three collections are in first editions. The plates were engraved by Jérôme David, born in Paris around 1605, who stayed in Rome from 1622 to 1636 before coming back to Paris, where he worked until 1662. That is 2 volumes
